My New Podcast: Stories Unbound!
I am very pleased to finally announce the launch of my new podcast at The Oatley Academy of Visual Storytelling- Stories Unbound: Your Guide to the Growing World of Kidlit and Children's Book Publishing.
Chris Oatley, the director at The Oatley Academy of Visual Storytelling, already hosts the #1 podcast about illustration on Itunes, Chris Oatley's Artcast. He is also a co-host of The Paperwings Show and Escape from Art Jail. Chris came up with the concept of a podcasting network for the Oatley Academy back in early 2014, and one of the first ideas he came up with was the idea for a podcast for the creators of children's books. We have been working on the podcast ever since then, so it is exciting to finally make the announcement!
Chris has been incredibly generous to invite me to be the host of this new show. I feel incredibly honored to be part of the wonderful community at The Oatley Academy. Chris has been an amazing teacher to me both in art, and now in podcasting. Chris has helped me develop the ideas for the show, and did a bunch of the behind the scenes work, including making the awesome branding for the show.
I am very excited to connect more with the amazing folks of the kidlit industry through the podcast, and I can't wait to share this show with all of you!
